FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are your frames truly handmade?
Yes, all of our frames are hand produced by the best, eyewear craftsman. Machine work is used very minimally within the production process, where hands alone cannot complete the job.
Where are your frames produced?
Although the design process starts and finishes here in the United States, Cult Eyewear sources and partners with manufacturers and companies from all over the world, including the United Kingdom, Italy and Japan, to bring you the highest quality materials and finished frame. Our master craftsman for production can be found in Hong Kong and China, which is where all of our frames are finalized and created.
Can I use these frames as sunglasses?
Yes, all of our frames can be used as sunglasses. Simply take them into your optician and request the lenses be changed for new tinted lenses with UVA/UVB sun protection.
Do you offer custom sizing?
Yes! Through our Bespoke program, we offer custom sizing in all of our frame designs.
Why do you only have a few frames on your site and not a large collection?
We believe in doing things right, one frame at a time. We focus our energy in creating each one individually, capturing all of the nuances and details associated with the frame. Once we are complete with a design, we move onto the next, but not before we feel it is perfect for release. Rome wasn’t built in a day. We feel the same about artisanal eyewear.
Is there a customer support number I can use to reach Cult Eyewear?
At this time, all of our Customer Service questions and requests should be submitted via email to info@cultframes.com. As Cult Eyewear expands and grows, we will continue to better our service and create additional efficiencies such as phone support in the future.
Is my Credit Card information safe when ordering?
Absolutely. We go to great lengths to protect your privacy and security. All of the information received is protected, and all transactions are processed on a secure server, which encrypts all of the data that is sent and received.
How does sizing work?
Cult Eyewear frames focus on the lens and bridge measurements in millimeter (mm) increments. These two specifications are located on all of our frames on the temple ends. So for instance, you may see a frame labeled 46-22. The first number 46 refers to the lens width (the width of one lens at its widest points), while the 22 refers to the bridge width (measured by the distance between both right and left lenses at their closest points).
Keep in mind that optical sizing is not consistent like shoe or apparel sizing. Each frame will fit differently based on shape and bridge type, so trying them on is the best way to gauge fit. Also note that eyeglasses aren’t made to be worn “off the rack”, and are designed to be adjusted by an optician. So don’t be discouraged if a frame looks great on but could use a tweak in it being too loose or too tight. More than likely, an optician can and will adjust it to the specific contours and size of your face.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, we do ship to all countries, for an additional shipping fee. Click here to see our shipping fees.
Do you ship to PO boxes and APO/FPO addresses?
Yes, we ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
Will an invoice be included in my shipment?
At Cult Eyewear we care about the environment, and in trying to cut down on paper usage whenever possible, we have opted to not include a printed receipt in each shipment. Your order confirmation email will serve as your receipt, outlining the products purchased, and will include the final amount charged to your method of payment.
Can I change or cancel an order after it is placed?
To change or cancel an order, please contact customer service as soon as possible at info@cultframes.com. We will do our very best to help you, provided that your order hasn’t shipped already. Once an order has been placed however, we cannot guarantee it can be changed or cancelled.
Where can I find Cult Eyewear frames near me?
As of this moment, all Cult Eyewear frames can be found exclusively at cultframes.com. You can check our Stockists by clicking here to see what shops currently offer our frames. In the future, we hope to expand into select boutique shops in major cities around the United States and perhaps the world. Wherever our fans lead us, we will follow!
